Our Rooms
Steps away from Dickinson College, Penn State Dickinson Law, the Central PA Youth Ballet (CPYB), and Historic Downtown Carlisle, the Mooreland Garden Inn is the perfect place to stay close when taking a school tour or visiting for an event. The Mooreland Garden Inn is a short drive to the US Army War College, and Carlisle Events Car Shows, too. The bed and breakfast is in a 110-year-old Georgian Revival Manor Home that has been elegantly restored and updated to accommodate our guests.
Innkeepers, Dawn Flower-Webb and Bruce Webb, look forward to welcoming you. Each guest room has a private bath with a rainwater shower, soft Turkish towels, and our signature line of organic soaps and lotions. Our rooms feature bed linens by Comphy sheets, free Wi-Fi, a smart TV with cable, and areas for you to relax, read, or work. All guests are welcome to the “Tea and Coffee Bar” with 24-hour access to cold soft drinks, bottled water, snacks (packaged and MGI made), tea and coffee. A made to order breakfast is prepared for you each morning and is served to fit your schedule between 7:30-9:30 AM. Guests are welcome to eat in the dining room, at the kitchen bar, or on the “purple porch.” We invite you to enjoy the garden and the variety of birds that frequent our feeders.

Our experience at the Moreland Garden Inn absolutely exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Every little thing was thought of, and we were very comfortable. The homemade breakfast, with many of the items coming directly from the garden, was delicious. Proximity to the Dickinson campus couldn’t be better. The innkeepers were very helpful and friendly. A+

This lovely B&B in a historic home couldn’t have nicer innkeepers and better service.
Beautifully restored and warm and welcoming, innkeepers Dawn and Bruce make you feel like you are at home. Breakfast is varied and delicious with so many home baked treats that you will want a second stomach. Pair these delectables with the perfect tea from the Tea treasure chest. I’ve never seen so many different teas!
Dawn was super kind to me personally, I’m from the south and it was snowing – she helped me with the car and cleared the sidewalk just before I needed to leave. That’s going above and beyond. Thanks Dawn!

Wonderful visit to Mooreland Garden Inn with my wife! Dawn greeted us at the door, showed us around and immediately we felt at home. It’s evident that this venture is a labor of love for Dawn and Bruce. Everything as advertised. Beautifully manicured gardens. Elegant 3-course breakfast. Friendly conversations. Carlisle’s downtown is historic, quaint and very walkable. Their suggestion for dinner a few blocks away was spot on!

My daughter dances at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in the summers. Mooreland is a quiet little retreat for my daughter and me before she starts her summer program. Dawn and Bruce are like family, kind, caring, and compassionate. Location is beautiful, and the rooms are quiet and so comfortable. The room is always clean, and the bed and sheets are soft and cozy. Dawn has added little touches for your stay, water and snack in your room, wifi access, and even specialty hand soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. There is always access to the fridge downstairs with extra goodies, and don’t forget the fresh-baked cookies that are amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, calm, peaceful, and relaxing! I highly recommend staying here if you have a chance. Let’s not forget the wonderful breakfast every morning, delicious and so filling. I would pick staying here any day, the value is spot on! You will not be disappointed.

lovely stay! Top notch Inn! We had such a wonderful stay at the Mooreland Garden Inn. Dawn was great – easy to communicate with during the booking process and highly attentive throughout our stay from arrival to checkout. She even baked us fresh cookies of our choice each night. The breakfast was lovely too, especially the fresh fruit plate with the white chocolate creme. The room was clean and comfortable. Also, the location was great for walking around downtown Carlisle. Would highly recommend!
