Is it Awkward?
At Mooreland Garden Inn, we aim to be inclusive and aware of your needs. Dawn and Bruce are always happy to chat about your visit and time in Carlisle. However, if you would prefer to keep to yourself during your stay we are happy to accommodate that too! The downstairs common space will be vacated around 9pm each night and you are always welcome to make yourself at home in our home!
What is a Bed and Breakfast, how does it differ from AirBnb’s?
A Bed and Breakfast like Mooreland Garden Inn is a private, locally owned and operated business. Bed and Breakfasts are hosted by an Inn keeper who will facilitate your stay and foster connection throughout your visit. Unlike AirBnB who does not have a proctor. Additionally, as the name suggests, Bed and Breakfasts include a homemade breakfast tailored to your preferences each morning of your stay!
Will I have my own bathroom?
All three rooms at Mooreland Garden Inn include private, en suite accommodations. Each bathroom is a full bath equipped with a shower and amenities.
What are the check-in and check-out times? Can I come and go as I please?
Check in is typically from 4pm-8pm, however, we are happy to accommodate your travel schedule. Once you have checked and gotten settled at MGI, you will have complete autonomy to come and go as you please! The front door will be personally coded for your stay and your room will be privately locked to set up your pleasant stay. You do not need to let the Innkeepers know your schedule, but we are happy to help facilitate your stay.
What do your breakfasts look like?
We take pride in our breakfasts here at Mooreland Garden Inn. Typically, Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:30am but we are happy to be flexible to your needs. You will have a choice in menu selection each day of your stay and we are always happy to work with any dietary needs. Just make sure to let us know before so we can best prepare for your stay.
Is parking available and included?
Street Parking is free and available on the quiet street of Mooreland Avenue adjacent to the Inn’s front entrance. If necessary, we have a small off-street lot that can accommodate your vehicles.
